RS Bruce is a proud affiliate member of the Federation of Burial and Cremation Authorities (FBCA), the UK's principal representative body for burial and cremation authorities. The FBCA represents approximately 85% of all cremation authorities in the United Kingdom Fbca and requires its members to operate in accordance with a strict Code of Cremation Practice. Our processes are designed to fully align with these standards, giving FBCA member crematoria confidence that their metal recycling is handled by a partner who understands and respects the regulatory framework within which they operate.

RSBruce holds Upper Tier registration as a Waste Carrier, Broker and Dealer with the Environment Agency. We are ISO certified across quality management (ISO 9001:2015), environmental management (ISO 14001:2015), and occupational health and safety (ISO 45001:2018). As members of the International Precious Metals Institute (IPMI), the British Metals Recycling Association (BMRA), and the Federation of Burial and Cremation Authorities (FBCA), we operate to the highest standards expected of both our industry and the cremation sector. All batches are independently assayed by ALS, ensuring complete transparency and verifiable results at every stage.
Accreditations
We carry out all work in accordance with current legislation, including method statement, risk assessment and the planning of work procedures. Our no-obligation on-site survey and assessment by one of our team will determine the viability of PGM recovery, including sampling and analysis, and will provide a free cost estimate from an experienced project manager.
